The paintings in this gallery were taken from Leland's school project at Village Glen West. They showed colorful animals on heart shape wood pieces painted with color makers and acrylic. Leland had just returned from Costa Rica when he began work on this project. Many animals seen here were native to Costa Rica and still fresh in Leland's mind.
